Tongan Language Week Celebration!

The Daring Dragons won best video on Monday for our Tongan Language Week Challenge! We got to have free lunch which was Chop suey and rice!! yummm! Check out some pictures

Tongan Language Week Experiences

Today we made a Tongan Tekeitekei! It is a traditional headpiece worn at special occasions! 

We used feathers and paper and glitter to make our tekeitekei's. We had great fun making these and helped each other if we were struggling.

Tongan Language Week activities!

Today we were learning about the Tongan Kiekei! A keikei is a traditional Tongan costume that is worn around the waist!
