Indian Language Week

The Dragons had a great time celebrating the language and culture from India! 

We enjoyed our discovery time, where we could do Rangoli pictures, learn to dance like Indian dancers and create our own Indian outfit for a doll. We also made Indian Elephants which are on the wall!

Soda Bread

Today for our Writing Experience we made Soda Bread! 

This bread is a traditional receipe from Northern Ireland - our country for the Commonwealth Games! We had fun following the instructions and eating the bread after!

Kidpower

We had Lisa from Kidpower come and visit us!

She taught us we have 4 types of powers! Brain power, body power, voice power and STOP power! 

We learnt that if someone is doing something we don't like, we say "Please stop!" and if they don't stop, we can say "I said stop!"
