Volume
We were learning about Volume for the week! On Friday, we got to have fun exploring different ideas linked to Volume. The best was how many marshmellows can you fit in your mouth? Doreen, Phaze, Ryan and Miss Cole won with 4!
Slow down around school!
The Dragons were given a very important sign about road safety! It is important to try and get our parents to drive slowly around schools as sometimes we can run out on the road unexpectedly, or be crossing on the crossing and our parents could be travelling too fast and have an accident!
Here is Agelu pulling a shocked face for parents to see that they need to drive slow! This frame is on the door everyday and parents can see the message to slow down around schools!

Learning about Measurement!
This week we have been learning about how long and short things are! We have been using lots of different things to measure like a ruler, our hands, our bodies and blocks.
We got into partners and used our hands to measure how long they were. Then we swapped so we each got a turn.
Last we measured how long it was from one side of the courts to the other! Have a look at how we did! It was 23 dragons and tigers long!
